Adaptation Hubs is a project funded under the Horizon Europe Coordination and Support Action (CSA). It is a flagship initiative of the European Union Mission on Adaptation to Climate Change, aiming to enhance cooperation among Member States and improve preparedness and resilience in the face of the climate crisis.
The project is centered on the establishment of an EU-wide network of 27 National Adaptation and Resilience Hubs—one in each EU Member State. Through this network, coordination across governance levels is reinforced, the exchange of knowledge and good practices is accelerated, and climate risk management is enhanced at both national and local levels.
Each National Adaptation Hub brings together national experts directly linked to climate adaptation governance mechanisms, as well as key stakeholders. Through this collaboration, the project promotes the active engagement of all levels of governance in achieving the objectives of the EU Mission on Adaptation to Climate Change.

The 27 Hubs represent the natural evolution of a dynamic ecosystem that brings together 326 local authorities, 65 projects, and the MIP4ADAPT knowledge platform.
The aim is to bring together existing ecosystems, reinforce multi-level governance, and align local and national actions with the EU Mission on Adaptation to Climate Change.
